Ladies take to the road in the name of peace
A Bayport-sponsored Peace Walk, organised by the Ghana National Association of Teachers Ladies Association (GNAT-LAS), drew participants from the ladies associations of the Electricity Company of Ghana, Ghana Police, Fire Service and the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation. The 350 to 400 walkers showed their support for World Teachers’ Day and for peaceful elections.
Bayport Ghana provided water and minted sweets to fortify the participants along the 18km-walk from Takoradi to Sekondi. Bayporteers also joined in and took the opportunity to spread the Bayport message, supported by company posters that had been put up along the route.
